ABOUT MR. JOHNSON

 Hello, I am Mr. Johnson, a proud alumnus of San Lorenzo High School. I was in the first video production class ever offered at SLz in 1996. It gives me great pleasure to have returned to the school that started me on my journey in the profession of video production/film making. I am currently teaching 10th-grade video production as well as Media Arts 12 (this is a course for seniors).

It's my goal to bring real-world production experience to the classroom. However, I am aware that all students won’t be filmmakers, thus I use video production as a vessel to teach life and work skills. I believe that making sound decisions, being on time, and understanding how to collaborate with others are invaluable tools needed in various fields. My lessons are structured to have an impact in the classroom and hopeful beyond the student's high school years.
