About Me

Hello! Welcome to my homepage. I started working at SLz High School in the 2006-2007 school year and have taught mainly 9th and 12th grade English. I love working with the San Lorenzo Community! I grew up in the Midwest and graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor's Degree in English Education. Since then, I've taught in Seattle, received my Masters from Boston University, and then made my way to the Bay Area. I love movies, reading, cleaning and, of course, teaching!

 

Recently, I have been focusing on my Advanced ELD 9/10 classes and teaching English Language Learners. I love having so many diverse languages and backgrounds in my classroom and am looking forward to meeting all my students and families this year.
