As we come to the end of a VERY long year, it is important to think about happiness and how to be happy. I HIGHLY recommend working on this slideshow a little bit at a time over the course of Winter Break - NOT all in one sitting. You can get UP TO 30 extra credit points if you complete the whole thing.
If you do not plan to do the project, but want to get it off your to do list, you can turn it in with a note saying you didn't actually do it. I WILL have to give it a 0 just to get it out of my "to be graded" list - but it won't hurt your grade at all, because it is extra credit.

Due:
You will be allowed to make up ANY missing assignments from this semester over Winter Break in order to raise your grade. The assignments WILL still be losing the 10% for being late, but 90% is a whole lot better than 0%. I will ONLY grade missing work IF YOU FILL OUT THIS FORM. If you are missing any MAJOR ASSESSMENTS - start with those. They are worth A LOT and will improve your grade A LOT if you complete them.
This is NOT an opportunity you would EVER get if we were in regular school. I am doing this because I understand that distance learning is very difficult for some of you. DO NOT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLY GENEROUS OPPORTUNITY!
*****If you need help with any of the make up work over the break, the best way to contact me will be through Remind. I will be checking email VERY rarely. If you are not already on Remind - join now. Text @MsKe9 to 81010.

Due:
For this project you are going to create an illustrated plotline for one of the short stories we read this unit (you CANNOT choose “The Sniper” because I created an example slideshow for you using that story)
For the Title Slide include the Story Title and Author’s Name and at least one image that you feel represents the story as a whole.
For the rest of the slides explain what happens in each part of the plot in complete sentences and include AT LEAST one image that illustrates that moment (do NOT just include screenshots from the film versions of the movies - look for your own unique images to use)
Feel free to change the theme/background on the slideshow and make sure to proofread your assignment prior to submitting. Major spelling and grammar mistakes will lose points.
