Dear San Lorenzo Family,
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Shane Cuison, a beloved member of the San Lorenzo High School Class of 2027, who passed away on September 14, 2026.
Shane was an important and valued member of our Grizzly community. He was a member of Student Leadership, and a dedicated member of both our football and volleyball programs. He contributed his energy, spirit and presence to our school community. His loss is deeply felt by his classmates, teammates, teachers, coaches, staff, and all who had the opportunity to know him.
During this difficult time, our hearts are with Shane’s family, friends, classmates, teammates, and loved ones. As a school community, we will come together to support one another, honor Shane’s memory, and give one another the space and care needed to navigate this profound loss.
Students who are struggling or need someone to talk with are encouraged to reach out to a trusted adult, their counselor, or the Wellness Center. We are here for one another.
