The purpose of a PTSA (Parent, Teacher, Student Association) is to foster collaboration between parents, students, and teachers to enhance the educational experience for students. PTSAs work to improve school environments, support teachers, and create a stronger connection between home and school.

 

 

Our Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) welcomes you to monthly meetings every 4th Tuesday of the month (may vary during Holiday months) starting at 6pm in the school library located at the end of B Hall easily accessed from the West Gym Parking Lot.

Time: 6:00 PM 

Tuesday, February 24th at 6pm 

Tuesday, March 24th at 6pm 

Tuesday, April 28th at 6pm 

Tuesday, May 26th at 6pm 

 

Every month you will be hearing important school updates from Principal Ahrens, Student Representative, and Teacher Representative. We will also have a guest speaker presenting about a special topic each month. 

We look forward to seeing you there to also voice your concerns and share ideas to improve our school! 

Spanish and Mandarin interpreters will be ready to assist on ZOOM.

  • Volunteer on the PTSA Board.  The Board helps plan all of the student programs.  We are always looking for help! Ask about vacancies for the year. 
 
  • Volunteer to help at a school event.  If every family volunteered even just one hour per school year, just think of the impact we would have! Please visit district website for information on how to become a volunteer at SLzUSD
 
  • Do you have a special skill? Can you design a flyer or poster, help research fundraisers, or write a grant report?  We want to hear from you!  There are tasks you can do from home!
 
  • Help us raise money!  Each year, the PTSA strives to raise money to improve student programs.

JOIN or renew your 2025-26, school year PTSA membership today. All are welcome and highly encouraged. Please know you do not need to volunteer to join. Membership fees and numbers support local and state PTSA resources and a paid membership allows you to vote!
