Epigenetics assignment

Hi students!

I want to give some directions for the new assignment. Go to Classroom (if you're not there already.) Start with the RNA reading, then the picture that you colour and turn in. Then do the video with questions from EdPuzzle. After that, start the with BCP Modern Genetics/Epigenetics guide. I’ve divided it all into seven days, but you can totally do it in any time frame you’d like. I have given you a Google Slides to fill out but you can also create a document and email it or write the answers down, take pictures, and email it to me.

I'm having a hard time knowing how to help you. If you have a question or don't understand something, try to be as specific as possible. The vocabulary is challenging in the best of circumstances! It'd be better to let me know "I keep confusing phenotype and genotype" rather than "I don't know what any of this means." I want to help you.

I hope that helps!

Zoom Meetings for the Rest of the Year

Hi everyone!
Our site has come up with a basic schedule for when we teachers can schedule Zoom meetings and such with you.  I'm happy to tell you that our times will be Monday and Wednesday at 12:30pm to 1pm.  That may still be a little early for you, so you can always make an appointment for a smaller Zoom session.
The meeting ID is : 926-1946-8130 and the password is: Bio-2024!P  The meetings will repeat weekly, Monday and Wednesdays until the end of school in June.
These are not mandatory, but I do need to hear from you via email or Classroom, get work turned in, see you in a Zoom meeting at least once a week.  All your teachers do!  Please encourage your friends to check Classroom regularly and check in with all their teachers.
We miss you too!
Love and long-distance hugs,Ms P
